LAVENDER PLANTS
Lavender plants for the garden are available from the farm shop (not by Mail Order) from mid May until early August. Please telephone 01959 523219 for current availability and prices.
Varieties stocked include:-
Lavandula angustifolia types - hardy and very reliable, with a range of colours (white, pink, lilac, blue, purple) and sizes from dwarf to medium height. We recommend 'Hidcote' (a neat, compact, dark blue hedging variety) and 'Folgate' (medium height, purple/blue, good scent).
Lavandula x intermedia types - very hardy, tall and strongly scented. We recommend 'Grosso' (grey-blue) and 'Alba' (white).
Lavandula stoechas types - half-hardy, repeat flowering if dead-headed, with dense flower-heads and large petal-like bracts in a range of colours.
